How to look for cheaper business class tickets to Europe
- Set the trip constraints first. Give the final city, earliest departure, latest arrival and traveler count. Say whether a fully flat bed, nonstop journey or flexible ticket is essential. This prevents a lower-priced option from changing the brief unnoticed.
- Compare dates you can actually use. Ask for your preferred dates and a realistic alternate window. Include the cost of extra hotel nights or missed plans. No weekday or booking interval guarantees the lowest fare for every route.
- Price acceptable gateways. Compare nearby U.S. airports only if you can reach them comfortably. If a separate flight is needed, ask who handles a missed connection and whether baggage must be collected. Add the positioning flight, overnight stay and transfers to the total.
- Request a nonstop and a connecting proposal. Keep traveler count, cabin requirements and travel dates consistent. Compare total elapsed time, arrival time and the seat on each flight. A lower ticket price can come with a longer or less convenient journey.
- Compare the return independently. If a flat bed matters most overnight, ask about a different return cabin as a separate option. Do not compare that total with an all-business round trip without clearly identifying the difference.
- Review the written total before paying. Check currency, taxes, baggage, seat charges and agency fees, where applicable. Read the cancellation, change and refund rules and ask when the fare must be rechecked. A request is not a seat reservation.

Compare the seat, not just the business class label
A long-haul business seat and an intra-European business seat can be different products on the same trip. British Airways describes Club Europe as its UK and European business cabin, with the middle seat kept free. Do not assume a European connection has a bed because the transatlantic sector does.
La Compagnie describes an all-business cabin with 76 fully flat seats in a 2-by-2 layout. That offers a specific tradeoff to compare: travelers can sit together, but the layout does not give every window seat a separate path to the aisle. Check the route, operating dates and fare conditions directly with the airline or in the written proposal.
